    chow chow waiting list

Please make sure you fill this form in with as much information as possible.
If you are unsure of the definition of the colour of the puppy you are after, please see my explanation of Chow Chow colours in my Chow Chow section.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Once this form has been submitted, I cannot change the details. So if you need to change your choices you will need to resubmit the form.

By filling in this form you are registering your interest in one of our Puppies. I would like to make people aware that filling in the form alone, does not guarantee that a Puppy will be placed with you.

I make announcement's both when we confirm a girl is pregnant and again when she has Puppies.
It will then be a first come first served basis, so please stay vigilant.
I start taking deposits once the puppies are here safe and sound and I know what we have. It may be the case that I reserve a few for myself too, and will hold them until I know which I want to Keep, this is a very normal procedure for breeders.

    My Waiting list procedure explained
As I’m sure you can all imagine, over the last few years we have had an unprecedented amount of people interested in one of our Puppies.
What has happened previously is, when a litter is born I have had to wade through the waiting list, trying to contact everybody in their order of joining. All whilst matching that with what puppies we have available with people preferences for colour And sex.

I then have to wait for their replies before I can contact the next people on the list. Sadly this is just untenable in the day and age. I have spent hours and hours over those first few important days waiting for people to contact me, only to find out that they have either found a puppy elsewhere, had a change of circumstances or have decided on a different colour sex preference, than they originally asked for.

As you can imagine when I am trying to deal with the new Mummy, her Newborns plus my own children and of course my other dogs this can be quite frustrating.

So what we are doing now is......

Firstly, I expect everyone to have filled in my waiting list form, with as much detail as possible. This is to ensure that their are no red flags and that your expectations from a puppy are realistic. Also that you have done adequate research into the breed and are prepared for all their amazing quirks.

Then when I have scanned a bitch in Pup, I will announce it on both my website and my social media accounts.
Where possible I will list the colours that are expected and an approximate little size. (Obviously I won’t know the sex or colour of the puppies until they born.)
I will then start a provisional list for that litter, when I have enough names on this litter (accounting for colour and sex discrepancies) I will close the list. This is to ensure that I am not disappointing people unnecessarily further down the line.

Once the puppies are here safe & sound, I will go to the provisional list, letting those people know what’s available and they can then contact me if they are still interested.
If there are puppies still available after that time, I will announce those as “available” on the website and my social media accounts.

Hopefully this will mean that only those genuinely ready for a puppy, who like the parents of the litter and are prepared for the expected colours will put their names down. My aim is that this will be a more efficient and fairer way to ensure that everyone who’s suitable gets a puppy in a sensible amount of time.

    Visiting Us

We completely understand that you want to come and see us as breeders before you decided to purchase a puppy from us. However and please don't misunderstand me here, we are not a store or a shop that is open 24hrs for your pursual. Out puppies are born in our home, in our front room. We do not have the facilities or staff to have people here without an appointment.
I do fully understand that many of you have considerably long drives and want to come and visit us on a weekend. unfortunately this is our weekend too and in many cases the only time I get to spend with my Husband and Kids. Our Children have lots of sporting activities and commitments over the weekends as they all play multiple sports for multiple teams. The other issue we now have is that my Dad has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and finds people in our home confusing.
To aid this, we now operate our Open Days. These give you the opportunity to come a visit us as well as the Puppies and Dogs. We are attempting to have these 3 to 4 times a year (or as demand dictates) this make it easier for us to have the House 'visitor' ready, and for us to prepare Dad or have carers available to aid him if necessary.
Please ask for the next open day dates if you cant see them posted.

Obviously if you have bought a puppy from us we will do our best to accommodate your visit. Though we do ask that this is when they are 4 to 5 weeks old as before then they are really too little to interact with and the risk of infection is at its highest. As soon as you have placed a deposit on a puppy we will endeavour to send weekly videos and photos of your puppy to keep you up to date with their progress and growth. This way you don't miss anything with your puppies first few months.

    Your Details

Do you intend to Breed from your Puppy in the Future?
I want to make it clear that all our Puppies are sold with Breeding Endorsements. If you are intending to breed from your Puppy, this is something that must be discussed with me before hand. I only lift endorsements on rare occasions and these Puppies come with a second Breeding Contract.
I currently only sell my puppies in the UK. Please read my explaination why in the drop down to understand my reasons why. If you want to discuss owning one of my Chows and you are not in the UK, please let me know ASAP.

    Puppy Details

**Please note that if you have only chosen one colour preference, there is a smaller chance of you getting a puppy from us. Obviously if you are open to more colours, then there is a greater chance of you receiving a puppy from us.**
Thank you for taking the time to fill out this form. We use this information to assess if you are a good fit for one of our Puppies.
I do not share this information with any others.
If you wish to discuss any aspects of this form or future litters please contact me.
